Review – BSN N.O. Xplode 2.0

no xplode is powerful nitric oxide supplement

Billed as an advanced strength pre-workout igniter, N.O. Xplode 2.0 is serious stuff for serious athletes.    According to BSN,

“Whether it’s greater size and strength that you’re after or improved speed and endurance, BSN® knows you’re out there, day after day, pushing yourself to the edge in order to get one step closer to your goal. Whatever your endgame, you deserve a complete pre-workout igniter that can keep pace.* BSN® has answered the call with its most powerful formula yet, equipping athletes everywhere with the tools to achieve real progress and push past previous limitations.*”

This supplement contains an interesting stack of ingredients designed to give you mental focus, more stamina in the gym, and to increase your pump.  First off, N.O. Xplode delivers a strong dose of L-Arginine and L-Citrulline in the form of:

  •  L-Arginine-Alpha Ketoglutaric Acid,
  • L-Citrulline-Malic Acid Interfusion, and
  • L-Citrulline-Alpha Ketoglutaric Acid.

N.O. Xplode 2.0 also contains L-Histidine-Alpha Ketoglutaric Acid, Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD), which is related to niacin, an important endothelial cell nutrient, and Gynostemma which is an herb that has been shown to stimulate nitric oxide release.

You can see that N.O. Xplode is clearly designed to be a powerful nitric oxide generator.  However, BSN has designed this supplement to be so much more than just an NO booster.  It contains several different types of creatine to help with getting those last few reps as well as building strength.  It also contains Caffeine and Vinpocetine to help with focus and to increase energy.

N.O. Xplode 2.0 comes in drink powder form in several flavors including  blue raspberry, grape, fruit punch, green apple lemon lime, lemonade, orange and watermelon.  Click here to get directions for serving size and when to take. (link)

I have tried the raspberry and it was not appealing.  The effect was fine, but the flavor was wanting.  It is one of the reasons why I like the pill form of nitric oxide boosters like BSN’s Nitrix.  I felt more focused and as expected, I was able to exercise a little bit harder for a while longer than normal.  I believe that this is one of those supplements that does its job best over time.  After taking it for a few weeks, the increases in strength and endurance were very noticeable.

The another nice thing about N.O. Xplode 2.0 is that it also comes in a caffeine free formulation.

Price depends on the size, the retailer and when you buy.
